TRAC: Theatre Royal Applause Club

TRAC is a separate registered charity from the theatre.  It has its own members and its own articles of association but it was created specifically to support the Theatre Royal - and for this we are hugely grateful. We submit regular financial requests to TRAC asking them to support projects, large and small. The TRAC committee reviews these proposals and supports those that best reflect TRAC's charitable objectives. TRAC gave very significant donations towards the 2005 refurbishment work of the theatre and to the building of TR2, our production and education centre.  

TRAC have previously supported School Ties, Shakespeare Slalom, the Young Company shows and they donated £1000 to our caption screen for the Drum to help hearing impaired patrons enjoy the performance. TRAC also sponsored the 2010/2011 pantomime performance (Sleeping Beauty) which was co-produced by the Theatre Royal - The Theatre would like to thank TRAC for their continued and dedicated support.
