Cinderella Pantomime Launch

The Theatre Royal Plymouth had its official launch for this years pantomime Cinderella on Friday 5th September at Saltram House. Lesley Joseph, Laura Evans and Matt Slack all arrived to be photographed with a fairy tale horse and carriage.

The most magical pantomime of them all, Cinderella will be brought to life in a spectacular production at the Theatre Royal Plymouth this Christmas.

The cast of this year’s pantomime will be led by Lesley Joseph as Fairy Godmother. With sumptuous costumes, stunning sets, an abundance of comedy and a flying Pegasus, which transports Cinders to the Ball. Cinderella is produced by Qdos Pantomimes, the world’s largest pantomime producer.

Speaking at the official launch of the show, Michael Harrison, Managing Director of Qdos Pantomimes and director of Cinderella said:

“There’s no doubt that Cinderella is one of the most popular fairytales of them all and we’re delighted to have assembled such a hugely talented cast to give Plymouth audiences a pantomime to remember. No production of Cinderella would be complete without the scene where Cinderella swaps her rags for riches with the help of her Fairy Godmother. For this magical and unmissable moment in the show we have created a very special effect - a flying Pegasus, an animatronic horse which transports Cinderella and her coach to the Ball!”
