Porridge
12 - 17 October at Theatre Royal

Porridge

After successfully bringing Dad’s Army and ‘Allo ‘Allo! to the stage, Calibre Productions return to the Theatre Royal with a real ‘coup de theatre’ - the first ever professional stage adaptation of the BBC’s hit comedy PORRIDGE.

Penned by the original writers Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais - the same fabulous team who gave us Auf Wiedersehen, Pet - this hilarious new play features all your favourite characters from the original series. So prepare for laughs-a-plenty as Fletch, played by Shaun Williamson (EastEnders and Extras), as well as Godber and the other inmates of Slade Prison, take on the system under the nose of the ever suspicious Mr Mackay.

'A sparkling jewel of comedy'
