A Theatre Royal Plymouth People’s Company Production
First performed in 1983 by the Royal Shakespeare Company, this off the wall play with music is set in Cornwall, where an American air force base sits uneasily next to the local farming community. A dead body found in the mud sparks off a darkly comic series of events as two very different cultures and their politics collide.
Following the recent success of the Short Play Festival in February, the People’s Company return to the Drum to cement their increasing local reputation for challenging, risk taking theatre.
'If I have a favourite piece, this is it' Nick Darke
