I Think We Are Alone
A Frantic Assembly & Theatre Royal Plymouth Co-production

Creative Call Out

As TRP reopens and reignites its Creative Programme we’re looking to expand our network of theatre creatives for productions now and in the future.  We’re particularly keen to hear from people from diverse cultural backgrounds and who haven’t worked with us before, as well as old friends – so if you are a director, designer, sound designer, lighting designer, movement director do get in touch.

Please send your CV/portfolio to production@theatreroyal.com.

Our next production is NHS The Musical by Nick Stimson and Jimmy Jewell, and directed by Stephen Fletcher.  The rehearsal period is from mid-August and the show will run 17th – 25th September 2021 on our Lyric stage.  We’re currently recruiting our creative team for this production, so if you are available and interested in finding out more please indicate this in your response.

By sending your details you are consenting to TRP holding your personal information on file.

Literary

We read full-length stage scripts from playwrights who live in the Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall areas.

Our focus for The Drum and The Lab is contemporary work that reflects the world as it is right now.

Plays can take up to four months to go through our reading system and we ask that you send only one script at a time.

The Playwrights’ Forum is a monthly meet-up at Theatre Royal Plymouth for local playwrights to network and discuss new work.

Please email for more information.
