Thank you for taking a moment to review what the TRP team have put in place to keep you safe and to ensure you and your family and friends have a great visit.
We appreciate that our programme of shows has been subject to change as a result of the pandemic. Please be assured we aim to e-mail any amendments in a timely way so you are up to date quickly and can change your plans.
All the information listed below is correct but may change as the UK Government release further updates. So, if your visit is not for a while, we suggest a quick check with our website before you travel, and a review of your contact details to make sure they are up to date.
We look forward to welcoming you back for new memories and new experiences, as we continue once again, to bring world-class theatre to the South West.
Mixed households and groups of any size are now welcome to book together.
We no longer issue physical tickets. All Digital Tickets will now be distributed electronically, straight into the Upcoming Events section of your TRP online account, accessible by logging in here.
On the day of the performance, please log in on a digital device and show these tickets to our Front of House team on arrival.
If you do not have a login associated with your existing account, please contact our Box Office who will activate this for you (please don’t register online yourself as this will create a duplicate account). If you are new to TRP, you can register a new account online before making your booking as usual.
Please note that our digital tickets are not suitable for printing. If you are unable to display your ticket(s) on a digital device, please bring your order number or a copy of your order confirmation email along with you.
Just a reminder that our Box Office remains closed for in-person bookings, please book tickets via our website or by calling the Box Office on 01752 267222.
Book with Confidence, Exchange with Ease

Before you arrive
The wearing of face coverings is now voluntary, however, for the comfort of our patrons, visiting companies and staff, TRP personnel will continue to wear face coverings whilst in the theatre. We politely request visiting patrons do the same, wherever possible.
‘Face coverings and social distancing may no longer be compulsory, but they will still protect us. We know that these measures are effective at helping to reduce transmission and we would ask you to continue with these in settings such as shops, on public transport and in cinemas and theatres. We will also ask you to wear a mask when you visit our buildings. These measures not only help to protect you, they reduce the risks for others around you, including those who are vulnerable or anxious.’
– Excerpt from an open letter from City Leaders urging us all to play our part in protecting ourselves and our friends, families and colleagues. Click here to read the letter in full.
We do not have cloakroom facilities so please minimise the items you bring to the theatre.
We have increased the circulation of fresh air throughout the building so it might be cooler than you are used to. You may want to bring an extra layer, just in case.
Enhanced hygiene procedures are in place which include thorough cleans between performances and deep cleanse fogging of all areas on a regular basis.
You will be asked to show your Digital Ticket on your mobile device. To view your Digital Tickets, go to the Upcoming Events section of your TRP online account, accessible by logging in here.
If you have the official NHS Test & Trace app installed on your mobile phone you are welcome to check in by scanning the QR code upon arrival, but this is no longer mandatory. Copies of this QR code will be available through our Front of House areas and paper forms will be made available for those unable to use the app. This information will be held for 21 days after the performance and then destroyed.
Our Restaurant, Café and Bars remain closed so there will be no food and beverage available to purchase. Non-alcoholic drinks with closable lids/caps, such as small bottles of water or squash, are permitted. Alcoholic drinks will not be permitted, and food should be consumed in the foyers and not the auditorium.
Hand sanitising stations are positioned throughout the public spaces for audience members to use and we ask that you do so frequently.
