Theatre Royal Plymouth work with people from all walks of life, from schoolchildren to local artists, disabled adults to people who have faced challenges including homelessness and mental health issues. TRP’s work boosts confidence, builds friendships, develops key skills, and brings joy to the people of Plymouth.

In 2022, we’ve ran 45 different community projects at TRP, which help to build confidence, key skills and celebrate the talents of the people in Plymouth.
Your donation will help us to continue delivering these inspiring workshops and help keep the magic of theatre alive.

£5 Allows a family with young children to attend Tiny Tales
£10 Enables a lonely and isolated person to see a theatre production and meet new people
£20 Gives the chance for a disabled adult to participate in Funky Llama
£25 Supports an artist to access the Lab Company for training
£50 Funds a bursary place on our Young or People’s company project for a term for those that couldn’t afford to otherwise

- More than 6,000 participants have engaged in our projects so far this year
- In 2022, more than 3,600 children have been involved in our projects
- We have supported over 140 local artists in 2021/22
