If you require any assistance in filling out this form please contact a member of the Engagement and Learning team by emailing either youngcompany@theatreroyal.com or peoplescompany@theatreroyal.com There are two kinds of bursaries - 50% discount or a free place on a Young Company or People’s Company course between a single academic year: September – July. Young/ People’s Company Terms and Conditions – • There are a limited number of bursary available which will be allocated on a case by case basis. • Bursaries are either at a 50% discount (half bursary) for those who are able to meet some of the cost but not the full cost of a course, or a free place for the year (full bursary) for those who are not able to meet any of the cost of the course. • Both are valid for the academic year in which they were applied for. Our Covid-Safe Environment

Booking and Safety Information

How to book

Our courses are now open to anyone- you don’t need to be a member. With current government guidelines, our workshops will be back at full capacity, which means, although we will still encourage distance between participants – it won’t always be possible. We are still asking participants to wear masks when entering and moving around our buildings (unless exempt) and the increased cleaning that was put in place will also continue. If participants / practitioners would like to wear a mask / visor throughout the sessions, they may. We want everyone to feel as comfortable in the space as possible.

Please do get in touch with us youngcompany@theatreroyal.com if you have any concerns / questions around workshops and covid procedures

Keeping Everyone Safe

IMPORTANT: If you or anyone in your household are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 Coronavirus or have been advised to self-isolate, please do not attend any of our sessions/workshops and seek medical advice. Please let us know if you develop any symptoms within 10 days of attending a session with us

It’s so important to us that you and our practitioners feel safe when you are taking part in our sessions and are in any of our buildings, so some covid secure procedures/ safety measures will continue for the foreseeable future.

  • We’ve got a really cool device that measures your core body. We’ll be using this to check everyone’s temperature on arrival before entering the spaces.
  • When you arrive or are being dropped off, please wait outside the building until it’s safe for us to check your temperature and invite you into the space.
  • We’ve got lots of hand sanitiser throughout the building and workshop spaces. Please clean your hands when you enter the building and leave, as well as, frequently throughout the sessions.
  • We’ll ensure all rooms are well ventilated with windows open, so please dress for the weather with layers, as it can sometimes be chilly.
  • As always please bring your own water bottle/drink with you to each session.
  • You can still use the toilets if you need to, these will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Other measures

NB: We hope to deliver all workshops/ sessions in-person but, please prepare for the possibility of workshops/ sessions having to revert to online delivery for part or all of the term should government guidance change or we are unable to use any of our buildings because of a case on-site. Social distancing may need to be reintroduced if this is recommended by government guidelines.

Please email youngcompany@theatreroyal.com / peoplescompany@theatreroyal.com if you have any questions or need to enquire about a bursary place.
