People’s Company
Build confidence, develop new skills and meet new people with the People’s Company.
We offer weekly workshops in our venues and out in the community, exploring theatre-making, singing, writing, storytelling and performance.

Our People’s Company produce annual shows and membership offers a variety of additional opportunities throughout the year. All productions are supported by a professional team, involving directors, production and stage managers, designers, makers, and technicians.

Our Space is a creative programme that works with adults with multiple and complex needs. Members come from all walks of life and may have faced challenges involving homelessness, mental health issues, re-offending, substance misuse, or they may feel isolated for other reasons.
Our Space offers three levels of engagement: Community hub drama workshops held in partnership with local services and organisations; weekly workshops in drama held at our Production and Learning centre at TR2; and Project X—bespoke training sessions for longer standing members to gain further skills that are transferable to everyday life.

Our Space 16-25 works with young adults with lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, reoffending, or people who feel socially isolated for other reasons.
Sessions will take place weekly at the Theatre’s Production and Learning Centre, TR2 in Cattedown.

Our Voice is a creative programme based in HMP Exeter that works with prisoners to address issues surrounding mental health and well-being, integration within the prison, resilience and hope.
