Make Sleeping Beauty the pantomime of your dreams!

Join soap star and panto legend Shane Richie this January and make Sleeping Beauty the pantomime of your dreams! He will be joined by X Factor Winner Matt Terry,  the fabulous Ceri Dupree, the hilarious Peter Piper, Stephanie McKenzie as the title role and West End star Jarnéia Richard-Noel. The wonderful Britt Lenting joins the cast as the evil Carabosse with Eleanor Walsh playing her daughter, Narcissa.

Once upon a time in a land far away, the beautiful Princess Aurora is given a twenty-first birthday present by her evil aunt Carabosse. By pricking her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel, she is placed under a cruel curse and forced to sleep for 100 years.

Can true love survive and the handsome Prince Charming break the spell? Who will outwit the evil Enchantress and foil her wicked plans?  All will be revealed in this spectacular panto packed with magic, music, comedy and special effects.

Age guideline:
All ages are welcome! Panto is a lot of fun, but sometimes it can be a little bit loud, and little bit cheeky, with some jokes that only the grown-ups will understand. Please bear this in mind if bringing anyone under the age of 5, or anyone with a nervous or more sensitive disposition.

Family Tickets: Patrons wishing to purchase Family Rate Tickets must add a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 tickets in order to qualify, and the group must contain a minimum of 1 adult and 1 child U16.

Meet the Cast!

Shane Richie

Shane Richie as Muddles

Shane has balanced a hugely successful forty-year career spanning between Theatre, Film and Television and he has been a regular fixture on prime-time television.

In 2002, Shane created the lovable rogue Alfie Moon featuring in BBC One’s EastEnders. The role went on to earn Shane several industry awards and many accolades including Best Actor at the Rose d’Or Television Festival. In 2020, Shane went into the Castle for the very first UK filming production of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and in 2021, Shane completed the sell-out hit Musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. He featured in 
London’s West End, and on the UK tour, to recreate his role as Hugo and Loco Chanell. In 2022, Shane returned to BBC EastEnders as the lovable Alfie Moon.

Matt Terry

X Factor champion, Matt Terry, has been nonstop since his win, back in 2016. He has been recording and writing music all over the world. He had a top 3 hit with his Ed Sheeran penned winner’s single ‘When Christmas Comes Around’ and featured on Enrique Iglesias’ smash Summer single ‘Subeme La Radio’ with Sean Paul, which spent 14 weeks in the top 10.

His debut album, ‘Trouble’ has been streamed over 100 million times. Matt has been working on his second album, which he is so excited to share with the worldMatt has also fronted his own radio show for Capital FM and has toured the world in leading roles in Dreamwork’s Madagascar The MusicalBroadway’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, and most recently Rock of Ages The Musical.

Ceri Dupree

Ceri Dupree as the Queen

Ceri Dupree has been delighting audiences worldwide for almost 30 years. His unique talents have led him through musical theatre, pantomime, summer seasons, television and cabaret. There isn’t an audience that he hasn’t played to!

He has performed at various major venues throughout the UK, including numerous appearances at top class hotels like The Savoy, The Dorchester, and The Churchill. Ceri has appeared in many West End nightclubs and his extensive repertoire of theatre shows include Hello DollyRock Hard (60’s Tribute show), and The Rocky Horror Show (as Frank-n-Furter of course!!!).

Ceri has written and produced his own shows ExtraordinaireLadies of LegendThe Ceri Dupree Spectacular, and Duprees acrowd to name but a few. Ceri has appeared on numerous chat shows, light entertainment shows as well hundreds of radio shows and his Pantomime credits are plentiful.

Peter Piper

Peter Piper as the King

Peter trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and The Brit School followed by the renowned Renegade Actors Academy, Hollywood. Way back in late 80s, Peter costarred in ITV’s 5 Alive series (which won the New York Festival of Comedy Award). He completed three series as special guest on The Ron Lucas Show (Thames TV) then emigrated to live in Los Angeles, signing with Lorimar Television.

Roles in US TV include Party of FiveThe Martin Short Show and TarzanIn Hollywood he worked as a voiceover artist for Disney, Warner Bros. and Paramount films Black BeautyPatriot Games (1 & 2), and Pocahontas.

He returned home for a proper cup of tea and a one-man special for Sky TV Stand & Deliver and began establishing himself as an actor on British soil, whilst maintaining his roots on the comedy stage. Recently Peter joined his pal in a new TV series Caravanning with Shane Richie (Channel 5).

Jarnéia Richard-Noel

Jarnéia Richard-Noel as the Good Fairy

Jarnéia Richard-Noel is originally from Northampton and trained at The Urdang Academy. She is an Olivier Award & Stage Debut Nominee for the role of Catherine of Aragon in the Hit Musical SIX.

Jarnéia was a part of the original cast of SIX from 2018-2021. Since then, she has been Swing Dynamites, Hairspray (UK Tour 2021-2022), Alice in Dick Whittington & His Cat (Norwich Theatre Royal) and has just finished performing at The Other Palace in the musical Millennials.

Stephanie McKenzie

Stephanie McKenzie as Princess Beauty

Stephanie trained at the Royal Academy of Music. Her credits include ensemble and understudy Marie, Wendy & Olive in The Osmonds Musical (UK Tour) and Jacques in Grimaldi (World Premier, Kenneth More Theatre).

Her credits while training include Woman in Things To Ruin, Spider Woman in Hal Prince: A Life In The Theatre and Featured Soloist in The Beatles (Royal Academy of Music). Stephanie was the 2020 winner of the HL Hammond prize at the Royal Academy of Music.

Theatre credits include Ferris and Milnes Christmas Cracker (The Ambassadors Theatre); Ensemble in the UK Premier of A Little Princess (The Royal Festival Hall); Jenny in Aspects of Love (Hope Mill Theatre/Southwark Playhouse) for which she received an Offie Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical; U/S Kate McGowan/Murphy/Mullins in Titanic the Musical (International tour); Finch in The London Boys with Dolls in Amber; Associate director/ensemble in Godspell (Ye Old Rose and Crown); Doreen/ emergency covid cover in Punchy!
