This event has past.
The BBC Big Band

Featuring world-class live music, alongside projected archive images, The BBC Big Band and their special guest vocalist, Atila, present a very special concert celebrating the centenary of the birth of the inimitable Nat ‘King’ Cole.

Through a diverse and unique repertoire, arranged and curated by the BBC Big Band and their conductor, Barry Forgie, the concert celebrates the music of perhaps the most iconic vocalist and entertainer of the Twentieth Century – whose legacy and influence continues to form a cornerstone popular culture and crossed the boundaries of jazz and popular music.

Featuring classic versions of Nat’s most famous songs, alongside a selection of music from the orchestras that Nat loved to work with throughout his incredible career, all alongside a backdrop of projected images, this is an evening of world-class entertainment which is not to be missed.
