Funky Llama Festival 2020

Theatre Royal Plymouth’s flagship community festival Funky Llama Festival is back and bigger than ever!

Bursting onto Plymouth Hoe for a day this summer with an exciting mix of live music, DJs, llamas, dance and theatre acts from across the UK. Expect a fun-filled day with wild costumes, wacky workshops and wonderful sights for the whole family to enjoy. Throughout the day there is lots of fun for the whole family to enjoy including storytelling, inclusive drama, dance workshops, arts and crafts, a fully licensed bar, delicious food stalls and a chill out tent. The party continues as the sun goes down with bands, cabaret acts and silent disco. This year’s festival promises to be funkier than ever, one not to be missed.

The Funky Llama Festival is an inclusive and accessible event that is programmed by our Funky Llama Steering Group. Funky Llama challenges stereotypes and celebrates the creative talents of disabled adults. It involves large-scale, inclusive performing arts and social events as well as increasing the amount of arts opportunities available throughout the region.

  • Fully accessible changing facility available on festival site
  • Scheduled BSL interpreted performances
  • Therapy Llamas on site
  • Guide dog rest area
  • Audio festival guide available

Full line up to be announced in Spring 2020
