Stuck On Chapter One: An Autistic Writer’s Rant by Spike Brooks

It’s what it says on the tin. This play is about an autistic writer stuck on chapter one of his epic fantasy novel. This piece follows an Autistic author’s joy of worldbuilding and the frustrations of simply trying to write it down. The rant can vary from irrelevant spats on the internet to his personal struggles, containing highly opinionated views related and unrelated to writing.

Trigger Warnings: Loud music, discussion around disability and autism

Along The Right Track By Philippa Gunning

Along The Right Track is a semi-autobiographical, one woman play which follows a woman sat at a train station trying to complete a puzzle whilst waiting for her train. This play is an authentic, honest and playful exploration of the reality of the long-term effects of childhood trauma through moments of surrealism, comedy and physical movement. This piece of storytelling raises the question of: Can you process your past when you haven’t got the full puzzle, or picture?
