Playhouse gives primary school teachers the chance to direct a specially commissioned play by one of the country’s leading playwrights, with professional support from the Theatre Royal Plymouth. The plays are written to challenge and inspire young casts, raising the confidence and creativity of teachers and young people alike. The Playhouse Project is part of the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Primary Schools Partnership.
Tickets for the Theatre Royal Plymouth Young Company’s production, Big Small Lost Found Things by Miriam Battye, can be purchased online.
What is the perfect amount of old? 9 ¾? Or maybe 10 is the perfect amount of old. Big Small Lost Found Things explores what we lose as we get older, where it goes and what we gain.
Tickets for other performances can be purchased through the schools listed on the right.
Playhouse is a national project that also runs at Birmingham Rep Theatre and York Theatre Royal. Playhouse in Plymouth is supported by Womble Bond Dickinson.
