Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) is excited to be working with Agile Comms, a fresh and modern telecoms company based just a stone’s throw away from the theatre on Royal Parade.

As a charity, TRP’s community work across the region is made possible by the local business community – through Corporate Membership and Sponsorship – so the team are delighted Agile Comms will be joining as Silver Corporate Members. They have seen, first-hand, the energy Agile Comms have and have watched them grow and are now excited to be on that journey with them.

Though they have clients across the country, Agile Comms are a proud Plymouth success story. Founded by Ollie Jackman and James Fisher in 2021, they brought over 30 years of combined experience to the new business, with a clear purpose of creating a positive impact on the community, economy and environment.

Of the partnership, Ollie Jackman commented: “As Agile Comms grows, we are thrilled to partner with Theatre Royal Plymouth – a world-class centre for the performing arts that makes a real difference in the community. Supporting their incredible work is a privilege, and we’re excited to play a part in helping them continue to inspire and engage people through the power of theatre.”

James Wheatley, TRP’s Membership Manager, added: “I’m really glad to have Agile Comms on board as they’re a local business with a mission and values that align with our own. I’ve been lucky enough to see loads of our community projects in action, to see the impact these have on the children and adults involved – I know we couldn’t deliver these projects without local businesses like Agile Comms becoming members or sponsors. I’m looking forward to working with Ollie and James.”

TRP has a mission to break down the perceived barriers to accessing the arts for as many people as possible in the South West and knows the transformative power of the arts in building social skills and self-confidence, friendships and a sense of community. Through the arts, TRP works with people of all ages, from projects like Dare to Dazzle, working with children from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds, to Acting Up, working with those over 50.
