As the principal home of performing arts in the South West, we engage and inspire many communities, creating memorable experiences for people from all backgrounds.

Creative Communities are looking for volunteer assistants (16+) supporting Young Company Autumn Term groups from Sep-Dec 2026:
- One person for their Young Company sessions: 5-7s/8-11s w/c 21 Sep-05 Dec, on Saturdays between 10-11:30am & 12:30-2pm
- One person for their Young Company session: 8-11s, w/c 21 Sep-05 Dec, on Saturdays between 10:30am-12pm
No formal qualifications are required for this role. They are much more interested in your passion, reliability, and attitude! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in community arts and youth work. Desired qualities:
- A positive attitude and are excited about helping children explore their creativity
- Happy to take direction from workshop leaders, lend a hand where needed, and support the participants
- Should be able to attend all dates you are required
- Enjoy working with children aged 5–11 and can make them feel welcome, safe, and included
- An interest in theatre, arts, or crafts and want to see how creative workshops are run
Note: Because this role involves working closely with young people, the successful volunteer will need a DBS check before starting.
