Booking and ticket information

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless the performance is cancelled.
  • If you are unable to attend, please notify us ahead of the start time and we may be able to exchange your tickets for an alternative performance of the same production for an additional fee (£1.50 a ticket). More details can be found here.
  • Your tickets can be refund-protected should you, or anyone in your party, be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances through our partnership with Booking Protect (click for Terms and Conditions).
  • Some performances or events may have age restrictions, please check for any restrictions on the production’s event page or with our Box Office prior to purchasing your tickets.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • If an event is cancelled or postponed, we will do our best to inform you of these changes.
  • Please note that any costs related to attending a show at Theatre Royal Plymouth (including travel, or accommodation) are the responsibility of the attendee. In the event of a show cancellation, we are not liable for any such expenses.
  • Tickets may not be sold for commercial gain, and tickets purchased by account holders are for personal use only. If the information available to us suggests that tickets have been purchased for commercial gain then we may, at TRP’s discretion, cancel the tickets without notice or refund.

If we are unable to make contact within 72 hours of discovering suspicious activity, then we reserve the right to cancel any associated tickets or Memberships without notice or refund.
  • Theatre Royal Plymouth Ltd takes no responsibility for tickets or services purchased via an agency or third party, including individuals purchasing on behalf of a group.
  • Booking early is recommended to secure the best seats at the best prices. As demand increases closer to the performance date, you may find that only higher-priced seating options remain. Please note that all ticket prices are subject to change at our/the visiting producer’s discretion in response to demand levels, and we may adjust pricing, seating areas, and the availability of concessions or discounts accordingly.

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel performances
  • Alter the cast without notice
  • Refuse ticket holder entry
  • Provide alternative seats
  • Challenge any suspicious account activity to protect our audiences from fraudulent activity

We are unable to guarantee the appearance of any particular artist and casts are subject to change without notice.

Concessions and Offers

  • Concessionary tickets are available for some of our performances; if you feel that you are eligible for a concession please ask when booking.
  • Only one concession applies per ticket. Proof of eligibility may be requested at the time of purchase and/or on the day of the performance.
  • Family Rate tickets are available for certain performances, as detailed on a production’s listing and ‘more info’ pages. In order to qualify for this special rate, we require a group purchase of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 tickets, with at least one adult and one child under the age under 16 included in the family group. Each person will need their own seat.
  • Any concessions or discounts are always subject to availability and cannot be applied retrospectively or in conjunction with any other offer.
  • If you receive an offer via promotion code, please ensure you are first logged into the account associated with the email or postal address where this was received (some offers are exclusive to certain accounts and cannot be shared).
  • The promotion code should be applied BEFORE selecting your seats, as the discount will not be applied if added afterwards. If you’re activating a code from an email, it will apply automatically when you click the link in the relevant email.
  • If you do not have an online login associated with your TRP account, please contact our Box Office on 01752 267222. We will be able to apply the discount for you and create a login for future use if required.

Gift vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 2 years from the purchase date and are non-refundable once issued.
  • Gift vouchers can be redeemed for a range of exciting experiences, including all productions, workshops, and memberships.
  • You can use your voucher credit to buy tickets. If you still have some credit left after your purchase, you can use it for your future purchases.
  • Any remaining balance in expired gift vouchers are donated to our charitable trust and put towards continuing our work within the community.
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be reinstated once the two-year validity period has expired.
