FUSE Gathering x Beyond Face

We are thrilled to be co-hosting this event with the brilliant Beyond Face, a South West based theatre company founded in Plymouth, who are celebrating their 10th birthday this year and who have made a number of productions over that time.

Over the years, Beyond Face have used autobiographical moments and personal experiences as the starting point for their shows. As they bring their latest piece In Search of Goldoni to Theatre Royal Plymouth as part of a national tour, they will take you behind the scenes, through the process of creating work from an autobiographical or personal perspective, while also talking about their journey to becoming the company they are today.

This gathering is linked to In Search of Goldoni – a Beyond Face Production in association with Theatre Royal Plymouth and Impossible Producing. Artists can book a discounted ticket for this comedic solo show when booking for this event.

Add full price tickets to In Search of Goldoni to your basket along with your Gathering tickets and the price will be discounted to £8 per person.

About The Show

A holiday to beautiful Venice.

Saikat is busy dragging his family around the winding cobbled streets, eating every flavour of gelato, serenading gondoliers and obsessively thinking about a bloke called Carlo Goldoni, some Venetian twins and the death of his dad.

Come with Saikat as he takes us through the streets of Venice to the hospital wards of Romford and into the inner workings of his brain as he desperately searches for shade from the storm in his mind.

In Search of Goldoni is a new comedic solo show that askes the big questions: what is life really about, what happens when we leave this earth and what the hell is granita menthe?

FUSE, a strand of TRP’s Artist Development work, is proud to offer free opportunities for artists to connect with each other. Including, access to rehearsal space, workshops, and opportunities to engage with the art across our stages. To find out more, please visit our Artist Development page.
