Join us for this brand new offering for 14-18s interested in life behind the scenes of Theatre Royal Plymouth
If you’re aged 14-18 with an interest in what happens backstage, this is the group for you.
Guided by our team of professional artists, you will have the opportunity to be practical, creative, understand equipment and explore all aspects of working backstage in the theatre. You’ll learn skills that can contribute to a future career in behind the scenes.
This term Backstage will be using these skills to design, install and operate the end of term sharing for the whole of young company as part of the end of year celebration on The Drum stage.

Important information
Weekly Wednesdays, 6pm – 8pm
First session 22 Apr
Half term break is w/c 25 May
This session takes place at The Lab, Theatre Royal Plymouth ( PL1 2TR). Some weeks may be in alternative spaces as needed.
Please wear comfortable clothing and no open-toed shoes due to the nature of the workshops.
