
It’s a frosty Christmas Eve and everyone is tucked up in bed,
But above our heads a shooting star begins its journey.
A sparkling dance across the sky, weaving through the clouds,
gliding with the birds and skimming past the snowflakes!
Theatre Royal Plymouth’s sensory delight for 0-3 year olds returns! This non-verbal show will engage young audiences through beautiful dance, live music and light. The performance will end with space for further exploration, play and festive photos.
Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.

Sensory notice & content warnings
The Star Who Danced is an inclusive experience made with sensory considerations. This performance will not feature flashing lights or loud sounds. The auditorium will remain open for the entire performance and post-show stay and pla. There is a safe and comfortable breakout space next to The Lab that is available throughout for audiences needing to take a break from the performance.

About Chilled Performances
Chilled Performances are for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and their grown ups, offering an even more gentle, multi-sensory performance with an age appropriate peer group. This performance will offer an opportunity to experience The Star Who Danced with tender 1:1 interactions, permission to move and make noise, and flexibility to leave and re-enter the space.
Important information
The auditorium will be open from 2.30pm and remain open for the entire performance and stay and explore. The start time of 2.45pm is flexible to allow families plenty of time to settle into the space. We plan to start no later than 3.15pm.
Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Running time
1 hour including a 30-minute stay and explore post-performance in the auditorium.
