Dance Consortium announce the Ireland and UK spring tour 2027 of São Paulo Dance company.
Appearing at Theatre Royal Plymouth from Friday 26 & Saturday 27 March at 7.30pm Theatre Royal Plymouth.
Following its acclaimed UK debut in 2024, São Paulo Dance Company returns to Ireland and the UK on a 13-venue Dance Consortium tour which opens at Dublin’s Bord Gáis Theatre on 1 and 2 February 2027. The tour continues until 27 March and includes three performances at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London where the company sold out on its previous visit.
Led by Inês Bogéa and internationally celebrated for its dynamic repertoire, São Paulo Dance Company showcases a distinctive artistic voice where classical technique meets contemporary innovation, driven by a powerful Latin pulse. With dancers renowned for their technical brilliance and vibrant personalities, the company delivers performances that fuse athleticism, precision and emotional intensity.
This is the 58th tour from Dance Consortium, a group of 24 large-scale venues based across the UK and Ireland set up in 2000 to engage audiences with the best contemporary dance from across the world.
The repertoire will be announced in September.
