Le Navet Bete’s season of silliness at TRP!
It’s about time we all had something to laugh about, right!? That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Devon’s funniest theatre group to our stage for a whole month with three different shows! Yes, that’s right THREE SHOWS! And you can watch them all this Summer as Le Navet Bete will be storming on our Lyric and Drum stages to make sure you’re deservedly entertained after being cooped up for so long!
We begin our season of silliness with their ★★★★★ (ReviewsHub) production of The Three Musketeers. Featuring hilarious heroics, raucous romances, and some bonkers fun with BMX bikes, Le Navet Bete condense Dumas’ 70-page classic into a show of non-stop comedy gold! Next up is their swashbuckling family adventure, Treasure Island. This hilarious production is full of ‘whacky theatrical surprises’ (The Stage) that will have you rolling overboard with laughter. To top off this amazing month, Le Navet Bete will be bringing their brand new, action-packed comedy show like no other – 400: A Comedy. Armed with bucket loads of fun, farce and physical comedy along with a truckload of costumes to boot, Devon’s favourite funnymen harness their impeccable powers of improvisation to tackle 400 years of history. That is, until they are interrupted by an unexpected visit…
Absolutely and deliciously bonkers
