Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) has announced its full festive line-up for 2026, which includes something for all ages. Running alongside this year’s pantomime, Cinderella, will be family favourite, Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas and brand-new production for the littlest audience members, The Loneliest Snowball.
Children age three to seven and their families are invited to join Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas in The Drum as he returns for another bloomin’ marvellous year, preparing for his Christmas deliveries, feeding his reindeer and taking flight into the snowy night. The Lyric Hammersmith family favourite, co-produced with the Olivier Award-nominated Pins & Needles Productions, plays 26 Nov – 27 Dec.
Following the success of Winter Lights and The Star Who Danced, The Loneliest Snowball is TRP’s newest winter production, which plays 02 Dec – 02 Jan in The Lab. The non-verbal show combines dance, music and light to create a magical theatre experience for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. Each performance is relaxed with audiences encouraged to experience the show at their own pace and stay and play afterwards.

Plus, already on sale, is the 2026 pantomime, Cinderella, on TRP’s main stage from 04 Dec – 03 Jan. Packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients Plymouth audiences expect, Cinderella stars pop icon Will Young, breakfast TV favourite and Hollywood correspondent, Ross King and musical theatre’s Eve Shanu-Wilson, Michael O’Reilly and Daniel Norford.
