Co-hosted with excellent local partners, venues or organisations, our Gatherings are designed to support connections to the rich, local artistic community. Themed around a prevalent topic, these events provide insight, knowledge and support to forge creative collaborations with other artists and industry specialists.

Masterclasses
Workshops to develop creative practice delivered by Theatre Royal Plymouth staff.

Behind the Scenes
Take a look behind the scenes of Theatre Royal Plymouth’s productions and gain some insight into the rehearsal and production process.

Hosted by a member of the TRP team, questions about the performance and creative process are delved into with the cast and company before the audience are given the opportunity to ask their own questions.
Post Show Talks are a great way of engaging with the work you’ve just seen. The talk lasts around 20 minutes and takes place in the theatre after the performance. Simply remain seated and enjoy participating in or listening to the creative conversations.
“Artist Development FUSE Gatherings are also really useful to meet others and hear about their experiences and hopes for future careers. It’s great to meet others who have shared experiences and also to learn about aspects of theatre that you might not have explored yet.”
Sam Tucker, Stage Manager and local artist on the FUSE programme
