Clap your hands… Stamp your feet… It’s time to say helloooo, It’s time to say hello!
Tiny Tales playful storytelling sessions are back this October. Giving you and your tiny person the chance to explore stories together through creative play and interactive fun! Led by our experienced early years facilitator, Tiny Tales will spark your child’s imagination and develop their curiosity about the world around them. We are very excited to trial these sessions out in The Nook! And for FREE as part of our pop-up library offer this half term.
We have plenty of space for prams and fully accessible changing facilities are also available.
Limited places are available so book to secure your place. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend, so that we can offer that place to another family.
Tuesday 29th October – The Three Little Pigs by Mara Alperin
My First Fairytales are a magical introduction to those unforgettable stories that are a key part of almost every childhood. Take a look at this well-loved classic while exploring the pop-up library’s overarching theme of sustainability. We wonder… did the little pigs think about sustainable housing when they build their homes?
Wednesday 30th October – Somebody Swallowed Stanley by Sarah Roberts
Everybody has a taste for Stanley – and the other ocean creatures just keep mistaking him for a delicious treat – but this is no ordinary jellyfish. Most jellyfish have dangly-gangly tentacles, but Stanley has two handles… Other jellyfish have a magical glow, but Stanley has stripes… Because Stanley (spoiler alert) is a plastic bag! Take a look at this brightly illustrated picture book while exploring the pop-up library’s overarching theme of sustainability and plastic in our seas.
Saturday 2nd November – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen
We’re going on a bear hunt. We’re going to catch a big one. Will you come too? Swish and swash, splash and splosh your way through this journey with us. Take a look at this award-winning favourite while exploring the pop- up library’s overarching theme of sustainability and the importance of the outdoors.
The Nook is Theatre Royal Plymouth’s pop-up library and event space, bringing young people together for storytelling and free activities this Autumn half term.
