Funky Llama is a platform for disabled adults to actively participate in the creation and delivery of a programme of activities and professional, inclusive arts events. These develop well-being, promote multiple social networking opportunities, reduce isolation and enhance life skills.
Funky Llama offers regular workshops in music, dance, drama, and backstage.
Funky Llama has been made possible by the generous support of everyone who donated to our Christmas Appeal and funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. Thank you!
Theatre Royal Plymouth’s flagship community event Funky Llama Festival is back!
Expect live music, DJs, craft stalls, a fully licensed bar, circus acts, comedy and magic from local and national performers. Including the latest show Human by Extraordinary Bodies, the UK’s leading disabled and non-disabled circus company, created in partnership with show makers Cirque Bijou and leading arts and diversity practitioners Diverse City.
Funky Llama became this energy that made me realise that even though I have autism I can do what I want.
