Pre show:
- Reduced volume of the pre-show announcement.
- Cast to do a pre-show welcome.
House lights:
- Keep up at a low percentage throughout the show.
Act 1:
- Start with a blanket volume reduction for overture and first few scenes, coming up to normal volume by end of scene 2.
- Scene 9: Lower volume at the beginning of the scene for cave of wonders and start of Friend Like Me, coming up to full volume by end of song.
- Streamer cannons – reduced volume
Act 2:
- Reduce volume for overture and Scene 1, increasing to normal volume by end of Scene 1
- Scene 9: Reduced volume for Jafar genie thunderclap
- Streamer cannons – reduced volume

This is a Relaxed Performance where elements of the production are adapted to reduce anxiety and stress. This performance welcomes those who would like to see the show in a less formal atmosphere, including (but not limited to) those who have an autism spectrum condition or people with a learning disability.
- The house lights will stay on
- Making noise during the show is not discouraged
- There will be a reduction in loud bangs and loud music
- There is an informal atmosphere and patrons can enter and leave the auditorium throughout the show as doors are left open
- A chill-out zone is available
- We have additional staff on hand, who are trained in Makaton
