BBC award-winning writer and performer Shôn Dale-Jones, “the great Welsh storyteller” and “legend of the Edinburgh Festival” (The Stage) brings you his charming blend of stand-up comedy and storytelling theatre.
When his good friend tells him he has only a few good years left in him, Shôn wonders ‘what is the best thing I can do with the little time I have left?’ He decides the world needs a show that will inspire optimism. When he discovers it’s much much harder than he thought it might be, he refuses to give up. Like a dog with a bone, he commits to the ambition.
The Office of External Optimism is a funny, heart-warming show about the pursuit of optimism that will leave you a little more determined to feel hopeful.
